Austin comes from a family of entrepreneurs and restaurateurs. Both his grandfather and father were born in France and later moved to America to open up French restaurants in Dallas, TX. Austin grew up in the restaurant industry and continued to work for restaurants as a server and caterer throughout high school. During this time, he learned the importance of restaurant management, speed and accuracy of orders, and customer satisfaction.
Austin is an avid cook and lives a very active lifestyle. His love of açaí bowls combined with his low-sugar diet can be directly reflected in RnB's recipes. His love of food, health, travel, and culture brings him to cook clean, exotic, and healthy meals. Combine these passions together, and you have the recipe for a foodie entrepreneur!
Outside of RnB, you can find Austin diving deep into tech projects (app/software development) or presenting about the future potential of cryptocurrencies!
Sophia’s clean eating journey began at the young age of 8 when her younger brother was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. She learned how to read nutrition labels so she could count the carbohydrates in the food and base how much insulin he needed off of that number. When her brother was diagnosed with Celiac Disease five years later, she learned more about reading the ingredients section of the nutrition label. Celiac Disease requires a strict gluten-free diet and knowing how to care for a person with Celiac has proven to be very valuable knowledge for Sophia.
It was in high school when Sophia truly started focusing on eating healthy herself. With her quick resourcefulness, responsibility, passion for fresh and wholesome food, and growing up surrounded by family with a deep-rooted love for good food and cooking, Sophia’s life experiences and drive create the perfect entrepreneurial cocktail. When Sophia is not working on all things RnB, you can find her at a hot yoga class, trying out new local restaurants in the Fort, or in the stockyards karaoke-ing the night away with friends.
